About This Image: I took this picture early one morning at Seven Islands State Birding Park. If you have never seen a field of sunflowers, then you may not know that these bright, beautiful flowers really do follow the sun, like the flowers in this image. Sunflowers are often associated with happy times. They bring joy. Today is the third Sunday of Advent, the Sunday of Joy. We celebrate the joy that the incarnation of Jesus brings to us - the promise of being made new in him, of the former things being passed away. Like these flowers, follow the Son and rejoice.
