The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven. If the winds are calm, the air is still, and you are by a body of water, there is a good chance that you will be able to see a reflection of the shore. The calmer the water the more exact the reflection will be. When we see Jesus we see exactly who God is. Unlike a reflection in water which will never be exact, we will always see and understand what God is like when we look at Jesus. Christ has called us to be representations of him so we too can reflect God’s love.
Prayer Lord Jesus, Son of God This day as we walk with you calm our hearts and make us more into a reflection of your love. Amen
