Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, As I stood on the the trail to Myrtle Falls that day it was like God’s glory opened before me. The snow cloud covered the top of the mountain as if God was right there in the cloud. His glory was displayed in the blazing color of the bushes and trees. Every time I look at this image my emotions are flooded with joy and peace just the same as they were that day. I bow down in my heart and worship our God.
But my experience on the mountain pales in comparison to what the shepherds must have experienced the night Jesus was born. We know that they went straight away to see the baby and then told everyone they saw. Their response was praise to God who brought a Savior in the form of a baby. Wherever you stand this day bow down and sing with the angles, “Glory to God in the highest heaven.” How can you share God’s glory this day? Prayer God in Highest Heaven We bow down and worship your beauty, your glory, and your Son, our Savior, Amen
