Scripture:
The voice of the LORD is over the waters; the God of glory thunders, the LORD, over many waters. The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty. The voice of the LORD flashes forth flames of fire. Psalm 29:3-4, 7 About This Image: There is nothing like lightening and thunder to remind you of the power of the God who created the universe. King David, who wrote this Psalm, spent much time outdoors and I imagine that he had been in thunderstorms and knew their power. He heard the voice of the Lord in nature and stood in awe. We can easily loose this awe and wonder of the power and majesty of God in our technologically advanced society. Stand back and be amazed that the omnipotent, majestic God who created the universe loves you and me.
